1831 headed by a vignette of two hanging men, titled "The Confession and Execution of Those Inhuman Burkites, Who Suffered This Morning at The Old Bailey", printed and sold by J. Phair, 76 ,Great Peter Street, Westminster.
Listing the "Extraordinary Disclosures" of revealed during the trial of "Bishop, Williams, & May", with illustrations of the trio, who strenuously deny the murder of the Italian boy but confess to the murder of two other children. The paper in remarkably good condition.
Offered together with bookplate illustration of the three convicted stood in the box with the caption "A sketch taken at Bow Street". (250x375mm)
