1828 "Particulars of the Trials and Execution of Joseph Hunton, the Quaker, With the Copy of a Letter he sent to a Friend, and an extract from a Prayer he composed the night before his execution; J. James, J. Mahoney, & J. Abbott, who were Executed on Monday at Newgate With Abbott's Letter to his Wife, and James's Speech at the Place of Execution", headed by vignette of four hanging men. Printed at Birt's wholesale and retail Song and Ballad Warehouse, No. 10, Great St. Andrew Street, Seven Dials, London.
Beginning "Joseph Hunton, aged 58, was indicted for having forged the acceptance of a number of persons to bill of exchange which he got discounted by the house of Robarts, Curtis, & Co. bankers. There were five indictments against him amounting to upwards of £6,000". Some peripheral faults as to be expected though generally fine. (240x390mm)
