1796 (17 Dec.) edition of "The London Gazette" containing details received from Major-General Gordon Forbes of an uprising in St. Domingo and a General Post Office notice offering a reward of £200 to anyone who can aid in the reclaiming of postbags stolen from Oakham, Uppingham, Louth, Bolton, Spalding, Peterborough, Stilton, Sleaford, Grantham, Colsterworth, Bourne, Stamford, Wansford, Oundle and Thrapstone;
Also 1797 (24 Apr.) edition of "The Sun" containing reports of the fate of the Maroons.
"The Gazette" in good condition though "The Sun" having suffered a little with age
