1716-1724, a group of three documents; 1716 letter of attorney from Charles Boyle, Earl of Orrery, to Lancelot Keate, Goldsmith of St. Martin in the Fields to sell £2,000 Capital Stock in the Company, 1720 (20 Sept.) letter of authorisation from Charles Trimnell, Bishop of Norwich and Bartholemew Beale of 'Biddeston' to Edward Crull, Merchant of London to accept £150 worth of stock in the Company, 1724 (20 June) letter of authority from Nicholas Baron Lechmere to Richars Lechmere Senior of St. Johns Clerkenwell to sell £1,000 of stock in the Company. An important group with relevance to the South Sea Bubble financial crisis.
