1652- 1715, a group of Commissioner documents (4) including 1652 resolution (copy) by the "Commissioners for removing obstructions, in lands and estates forfeited to the Commonwealth for treason, to be sold by the use of the Navy", subscribed by Robert Aldworth, John Barnes, Francis Mussended and William Roberts; 1669/70 letter from the "Commissioners of Accounts" to Sir Robert Long from Brookehouse in Holborn investigating the advancement of £250,000 to Sir George Carteret "by the late favours of his Majesties Hearth Duty"; 1711 letter from the "Commissioners for examining Public Accounts" ordering unknown to show proof of their appointment to the position of "Treasurer of Her Majesties Bounty"; 1711 letter from the "Commissioners for putting in Execution the Act Entitled An Act for ye Taking Examining and Stating the Publick Account of ye Kingdom", ordering Captain Canning, "Commander of the Worcester Man of War" to provide a full account of provisions received for the ports of Plymouth, signed by Thomas Lister, George Lockhart, Henry Bennett and more; and a letter signed from Edmund Williamson who had been commissioner for assessing the debts of King William III complaining he had not been paid for his work.
