The Collection of Mr. Horace Jack Crisp, Valet to King Edward VIII
1937 "Oval Tobacco Box" in silver with a medallion commemorating the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth inset in the lid, Collingwood engraved on the base, hallmarked, and a printed note within "This is a faithful hand-made copy of one made by Edward Cornock in 1713. It bears the Britannia Silver Hall-mark of the period, 1697-1720, when all English Silver had to be of a better quality than the coinage to prevent the latter being melted down and made into articles for domestic use" (95x80x25mm)
