Undated watercolour portrait on board signed by unknown artist at lower right and "H.L. Smith-Dorrien" at lower left and with 1917 (26 Feb.) ALS to the artist on "Grey Friars, Ascot, Berks" headed paper reading "Since you are foolish enough to wish to have a picture of me I am bound to sign it & think it is excellent & so says my wife". Signed "H.L. Smith-Dorrien".
Sold together with "6 Oct." ALS on "Lamport Grange, Northampton" letter paper to "Crawfurd"
