1919 (Aug. 11) ALS on both sides of Buckingham Palace stationery card to Sir Cecil Harcourt-Smith thanking him for his letter and wishing to "Discuss my inventory in the autumn" continuing "I had not realised that the large Sevres vase was a "oral loan", what a horror, I really cannot compete with it! Pray find a space for it in yr basement. I wish it could be smashed in transit, but horrors always survive!". Signed "Mary R".
Together with Buckingham Palace stationery envelope, postally used and addressed in the Queen's hand to Harcourt-Smith dated the following day.
