Balmoral Castle stationery mourning envelope addressed in the Princess' hand to "Her Royal Highness, The Princess Mary Adelaide, Duchess of Teck, White Lodge, Richmond Park, Surrey" bearing 1d. lilac tied by "CALEDONIA. T.P.O. DAY. UP." c.d.s. and with Richmond d.s. on reverse. Flap on reverse torn upon opening leaving the embossing clear.
