1866 (14 May) stationery envelope with the Prince's cypher embossed on the flap, addressed in his hand to "The Rev. C.F. Tarver, St. Peters Vicarage, near Margate, Kent" and initialled at lower left "AW" bearing 1d. red, plate 78 tied by Charing Cross Duplex and with Margate d.s. on reverse. Some minor foxing to the envelope otherwise fine.
