"Programmes of the Ceremonies to be Observed at Visits Between His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and Native Chiefs in India", printed by the Foreign Department, Simla, 7 November 1905, 1st edition, folio III 152pp, bound in Morocco gilt with marbled endpapers, title page signed in ink "V Gabriel, Under Secretary of State to the Government of India. The publication covers the ceremonial and return visits as well as "Notes on the Ceremonies as Actually Carried Out". Ceremonies covered are Bombay, Indore, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bikaner, Lahore, Jammu, Delhi, Gwalior, Lucknow, Calcutta, Madras, Mysore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Benares and Quetta. Each ceremony is covered in meticulous detail and is an unparalleled insight into this Royal Visit. Previous ownership mark on free endpaper of a Gwalior Sirdar. Some damage to the binding though an exceptionally scarce item with a print run of only thirty-eight.
