Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Sceat, Series R2, "Rigold" (R1X), radiate bust right, short pyramidical neck, TWpa before, ^ behind, rev. beaded standard enclosing votive legend, central annulet, tufa above enclosing trefoil, cross pattée below, chevron each side, diagonals at outer corners, 1.20g, 0° (SL 11-20, plate coin; SCBI 69, 656 this coin; T&S pp. 502-9, 394-5; North 153; Spink 813), a wondrous example albeit for pastille toning and minor die flaws, otherwise extremely fine, rare thus
