1859 (10 Aug.) envelope to Altona, Denmark bearing 1859 perforated 1d. yellow-green pair, 1/- dull blue and 2/- dull bluish green tied by "244" numeral in barred oval, marked "registered 854" and some rate marks, with London small crown/"registered" (plus a second, partial strike) and London Paid c.d.s. (14.10); the reverse with Back Creek despatch oval, Hamburg and another transit datestamp. An appealing three-colour franking. R.P.S. Victoria Certificate (2008)
