1850 (29 Oct.) blue entire letter to New York "Per first Steamer" and "Registered" bearing 1841 2d. blue plate 3, AD-AF strip of three (mixed margins) tied by Scottish numeral "186" in dark blue with two strikes of the accompanying despatch c.d.s. alongside with "1/-" rate mark in red ink, with U.S. accountancy handstamps "paid" and "21/cents" in red, the reverse with Liverpool transit c.d.s. (30.10) in blue. There is a crease through the central 2d. blue
