1853 (25 Mar.) blue wrapper sent "Money Letter" to Quebec bearing 1852-57 wove paper 3d. brown-red imperf. horizontal pair (fair to good margins each just cut into one corner) each cancelled by ink cross, with open circle Brook despatch postmark with manuscript date insertion, two different types of "money letter" plus some manuscript numbers including "6" for the postage, the flap (which opens well for display) with Warwick (manuscript date) and London (24.3) c.d.s. plus faint Quebec arrival. A paper split in the left adhesive. A delightful and rare wove paper franking from a small town that, apparently, did not have a cancellation device provided to them from the Post Office.
