1867 First Printing, Wove Paper, Serrate Roulette
1867 (22 May), entire letter from Colima, forwarded to Guadalajara and then to Zamora, franked 4r. on white paper, double perf. variety, 1r. blue oblong quadrillé and 2r. on thin green quadrillé, all tied by oval dispatch handstamps. One of only two covers recorded bearing the 4r. Serrate Roulette, the most important cover of the Gaudalajara Provisional Postmasters issues and a unique three colour franking of the Serrate issues.
