1865 (19 Sept.) entire letter written by Father Michael Navarro, a Spanish Franciscan in Heng-tcheou-fou in Hunan to Paris bearing Hong Kong 1863-71 8c. pair tied by "B62" with manuscript "8" in red crayon, "P.P." and boxed "PD" and French transit c.d.s. all in red, the reverse with Hong Kong (12.11) and Paris (26.12) c.d.s. Father Navarro arrived in Hong Kong in January 1842 and was the first resident priest there, after this he spent much of his time in mod-southern China, including Kwangtung and Hunan as a missionary
1865年9月19日香港第一位天主教司鐸納華路神父從中國湖南經馬賽與香港寄巴黎信函, 貼1863-71年香港女皇8c. 票一對. 銷 "B62" 戳, 旁有紅筆手寫"8" 字, 另蓋P.P.及框型PD 紅印. 並有法國中轉戳, 封背有11月12日香港中轉戳及12月26日巴黎日戳. 納華路神父於 1842 年 1 月抵達香港, 是那裡的第一位常駐神父, 此後他大部分時間都在中國南方, 包括廣東和湖南擔任傳教士
