1841 (5-6 Nov.) the duplicate of the previous lot from Turner & Co in Macao to John Gladstone & Co, Liverpool, sent on the 'Forfarshire' "pr overland mail via Marseilles", rated "2/8" and with "INDIA" in large oval, the flap with "Recd Bombay 31 Dec 1841 R S &Co." and with London c.d.s. (8.2). There are fairly heavy vertical folding creases and some paper ageing; the writing is smaller than the previous lot.


The contents of the letter are the same as the previous lot though there is an addition written on the 6th November relating to the unloading and sale of a cargo. A good letter and a good brother letter to the previous lot


1841年11月5-6日澳門Turner & Co 經馬賽寄英國利物浦John Gladstone &Co 信函(上一項信函的複寫), 記有 "pr overland mail via Marsilles" 字句, 遞送費為2s 8d, 蓋有大㰐圓型 "INDIA" 戳, 封舌上有"Recd Bombay 31 Dec. 1841 R S & Co" 字樣, 及2月8日倫敦日戳. 信函有摺痕及紙張有部份老化. 此信函的內容與前一項相同, 但在 11 月 6 日寫了一個關於貨物卸載和銷售的補充. 與前一項拍品組成了一對相關連的"兄弟" 信
