1874 (3 Mar.) envelope (opened-out) from Leeds to Watsons Hill Post Office, bearing 1d. rose-red pair (defect between at top) cancelled with "447" duplex, showing "exc deficient postage/oz british share of fine" handstamp completed for 10d. and 6d. respectively for a total of "1/4" subsequently deleted and replaced with "1/14" in blue crayon to include the Jamaica inland postage, the reverse with a further "1/10 to Pay/Watsons Hill" alongside Kingston (20.4) and Watsons Hill (21.4, crossed by tear) datestamps, the earliest recorded example of this datestamp; a little soiled though a most unusual deficiently franked cover.
