1899 (6 Dec.) envelope from Cross Keys to Chapelton, bearing G.B. 1d. lilac neatly cancelled with squared-circle datestamp, the reverse with Mandeville, May Pen and arrival (7.12) datestamps. A rare and most unusual unauthorised, though apparently accepted use, of a G.B. adhesive to pay postage in the island. Photo
