1869 (24 May) envelope from Kingston to Mrs. Henry Kent, c/o of her husband Col. Kent in Agra, bearing 2d. rose, 3d. green and 6d. lilac pair all cancelled "A01" and with Kingston datestamp alongside, showing deleted rate mark in magenta ink, London Paid (14.6) and large "1" accountancy mark in red crayon; on arrival in France the cover was sent by train to Marseilles, by P&O ship Pera to Alexandria and by rail to Suez, from Suez by P&O Nubia to Aden, (backstamped with 2 July Sea Post Office datestamp), then to Bombay (8.7) and by rail to Agra (19.7); adhesives with a few faults though not unattractive.
