Imperial Adhesives No Longer Valid in Jamaica after 1 August 1860
1864 (29 Aug.) envelope from Port Royal to Kingston, bearing 1d. rose-red pair (light creasing) sharing manuscript "No Good" and both cancelled "A67", showing "2d" (ink etching) to pay the fine and with light "port-royal/jamaica" P11 despatch datestamp at foot, Kingston transit datestamp (30.8) on reverse. A highly unusual late non-acceptance of G.B. adhesives to prepay postage. Photo
