Falmouth, "A39"
1859 (30 Aug.) entire to Kingston, bearing 1d. rose-red pair and 4d. rose-carmine (a couple of perf. faults) each neatly cancelled "A39" and with Kingston K9 datestamp alongside, St. Ann's Bay (30.8) and arrival (30.8) datestamps on reverse. An attractive franking for a single rate letter carried between 60 and 100 miles and with this combination not recorded by Foster. Photo
