1758 (26 July) entire letter "p. the Duke Packet Q.D.C." to Clatto near Edinburgh, rated "1N6" single packet rate to London plus 6d. London to Edinburgh and 2d. Edinburgh to Clatto, showing on reverse superb "jamaica" (J1 sub type with tail of "j" extending below the other letters, crossed by filing crease) and equally fine "29/se" Bishop mark. Proud PS3 and a very early date of use. Photo
