1840-1972 used collection housed in a very well-filled album including 1840 1d. black (16, including watermark inverted and some used on cover), 1840 2d. blue (9), 1841 1d. red-brown with numbers in Maltese Cross 1-12, 1847 Embossed with 6d., 10d. and 1/- each in a pair (faults) and single examples and 1/- used on front, Later Line-Engraved with 1841 2d. blues with numbers in Maltese Cross 1-12, 1870-79 ½d. rose Plates 1-20, 1870-74 OP-PC error (faults), 1864-79 1d. rose-red Plates 71-225, a huge range of Surface Printed issues including values to £1, Stock Exchange forgeries, 1884-85 Crowns £1 (2) and Orbs £1, 1902-10 to £1 with plenty of shades and printings, 1911-13 to £1, 1913 Waterlow to £1, De la Rue to 10/-, 1929 PUC to £1, later issues including KGVI and QEII with watermark and other minor varieties, Nazi Propaganda forgeries, etc.; condition a little mixed in places though plenty good. Enormous catalogue value
