Plate 22: GE, large margins all round, on entire letter from Rome to Lord Clifford in London, then re-addressed to Chudleigh, the adhesive applied over a Rome despatch datestamp for '20 Sep 42' and tied by neat black Maltese Cross cancellation, affixed to pay the redirection charge; alongside rated '1/7' in manuscript and numerous marks including 'Chudleigh' arrival date stamp for 'OC 2 1842', a very fine and rare usage.
