1879 (Sept.) envelope ex the Cramer correspondence to the Isle of Wight, headed "From Capt. Cramer 60th Rifled, on active service Zululand", bearing 1876 6d. violet with overprint inverted tied by "2" obliterator and showing, on reverse, Durban (4.9) and Ryde arrival (4.9) datestamps. Very rare, being one of only six examples of the inverted overprint known on cover, all of which are used from Zululand. Photo
