1884 (9 Dec.) envelope from Pretoria to Cape Town, bearing 1883 re-issue 1d. and 3d. pale red, both cancelled by "1" in concentric rings with despatch d.s. alongside and showing arrival c.d.s. (16.12) on reverse. A scarce 4d. per half ounce letter rate which was valid for only about two and a half years. Photo
