1879 (13 Mar.) envelope from Pretoria to Heidelberg, bearing 1878 3d. tied by "1" in concentric rings with light despatch c.d.s. alongside and partly readable arrival c.d.s. (dates inverted) on reverse; the envelope with a few pinholes and a few other minor imperfections, though a scarce stamp used alone paying the 3d. per half ounce internal inland rate introduce on 1 June.
