1893 (4 Jan.) Transvaal Vürtheim 1d. red card handstamped "Swazieland", from Bremersdorp to Holland, uprated with 1889-92 ½d. grey with black overprint and ½d. grey with carmine overprint, both cancelled by "bremersdorp/swaziel" squared-circle d.s. and showing Cape Town (18.1), London (6.2) and Assen (8.2) datestamps, all on face. An exceptionally rare card with the "Swazieland" handstamp, being one of only a handful of recorded examples. Photo

Note: Similar "Swazieland" handstamps with two different lengths to bars were used on telegraph forms of the period.
