1868 (Feb.) envelope to England, rated "1/6", bearing Orange Free State 6d. cancelled by circle of eleven bars, in combination with Cape of Good Hope 1/- tied by barred oval "1", showing Cape Town c.d.s. (18.2) and Cape Packet Devonport c.d.s. (24.3) at right with, on reverse, London datestamp (25.3); envelope with flap repaired. A rare and very early combination franking and a very early use of the 6d. adhesive which had been introduced on 1 January. Photo
