1861 (17 Sept.) envelope from Grahamstown to Hertford, bearing 1858 pale rose-lilac with mainly good to large margins (touched at lower right), neatly tied by wide roller bars, showing "paid/devonport/cape packet" (31.10), red London Paid (1.11) and arrival (1.11) c.d.s. on face with, on reverse, despatch and Cape Town datestamps; the envelope with some minor peripheral creases.
