1867 (Aug.) envelope from Mowbray to Admiralty House, Simon's Town, bearing 1864 1d. deep carmine-red with mostly good to large margins, clearly tied by triangular obliterator and showing despatch d.s. on reverse. A very rare example of the reduced 1d. town rate which was extended to suburbs from 1 February 1864. Photo
