1843-1940, a small group of nineteen entires, wrappers and envelopes including 1843, two entires to Kendal bearing 1d. red-brown, 1849 and 1851 entires bearing 1841 2d. blue, the first cut into at left but with large margins at top and right showing portion of adjoining stamp, 1863 envelope to Massachusetts bearing 1862-64 1/- green and charged '5/cents' on arrival, 1869 attractive entire to Copenhagen bearing 1862-64 4d. bright red cancelled by crisp 498 barred oval and with Copenhagen d.s. on reverse, 1871 wrapper to Amsterdam marked via Ostend, bearing 1867-80 3d. Plate 6 and oval 'pd' handstamp, 1873 similar postage due cover to Bordeaux bearing 1873-80 3d. Plate 11 and oval 'pd' handstamp 1875 entire to Buenos Aires bearing 1873-80 1/- Plate 12, attractive 1936 (1 Sept.) envelope to Devon bearing KEVIII ½d., 1½d. and 2½d. on first day of issue, 1924 (23 Apr.) envelope from Empire Exhibit to Paris bearing 1d. pair and single and 1½d. with Air Mail label, 1935 (10 May) cover to India bearing Silver Jubilee ½d. (2), 1d., 1½d. and 2½d. with Air Mail Label, posted on first day of issue and 1940 registered envelope from Windsor Castle to Wellington House bearing 'gr' cypher and Windsor Castle Registered label No. 0138
