2d. Bisect
Owing to a shortage of 1d. stamps, bisects of the 2d. were permitted for a short time. Use of these bisected stamps was confined to Blantyre, Chiromo and Zomba.
Probably no more than 50 were used. Legitimate examples should be dated July or October 1895

2d. sea-green and vermilion, bisected vertically and clearly tied by single-ring datestamp (date unclear) on wrapper front (small piece of front missing at upper left) from Zomba to the Imperial British East Africa Co., Mombasa.
