Note: In the April/June issue of "The Philatelic Journal" Bernard Livermore wrote that this stamp was found amongst a box of Rhodesian stamps sent to the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief in c. 1963. The stamps were forwarded to Arnold Waterfall (Tibetan specialist) who examined them in detail finding ten perf. 13½ 1d. and the stamp offered above. The stamp was taken to Robson Lowe who confirmed that it was "quite genuine" and where it was subsequently bought by Livermore, with the other stamps, for £15 .
