Unplated, brownish scarlet and deep green, the frame colour in an extraordinary colour unlike any other members of the five shilling family, the heads reacting "bright coppery orange" under ultra-violet, a large and well-centred example, part original gum with a single hinge remainder; highly attractive and a quite amazing stamp.
