1920 (Sept.) Oswald Marsh envelope registered from Makaha to London, bearing scarlet and reddish mauve cancelled by double-ring datestamp with blank before two year date and with blank registration label at left similarly cancelled; the reverse (tear on flap through opening) with Salisbury (6.9), London (5.10) and Norwood (6.10) datestamps; light fold at right not affecting the adhesive. Very fine and exceptional being the only known example of this postmark recorded. Memoir 34, page 112, M9. Photo
