Four Pence

RSC "D", Olive-black and yellow-orange, Hook printing
[1-10] block of ten, being the top two rows of the sheet with full imprint and sheet number "30", [2] Hook in Queen's ear being re-entered thus showing deep and better inked heads than the stamps around it, [5] "medal cuts", [8] with printer's mark and [10] "medal cuts", fresh mint with a couple of hinge marks in top margin only, all stamps remaining unmounted mint. Unique and exceptionally fine. A monumental rarity, being one of the greatest of all Double Head multiples, this sheet being printed from the SG3 Head plate which only produced this sheet and the 2d. RSC "B". Photo

Note: To date it appears that there is only one sheet of this printing recorded, this sheet originally having been divided in to four multiples
