Plate B Sheet
Carmine-lake complete sheet of one hundred with sheet number "265", [87B] is the extremely rare "first repair", the state that followed the "original flaw", each block of four cancelled-to-order with Gwelo 24 December 1912 double-ring datestamp, pen and pencil notes by H.C. Dann on all sides of the margin with those at foot being related to flaws and retouches; divided vertically at centre and elsewhere; some faults in places though a hugely important and unique multiple. Note: The First Repair appears to be considerably rarer than the Original Flaw itself, no mint example having been found and only a handful of used singles having been recorded
