1859 (Sept.) compound pin-perf. 13½-14 x 12½ (1d.) carmine-lake with complete perforations on two sides, partly overlapped by 1860 (Mar.) Litho, fifth issue, (1d.) bluish grey strip of four [6-9] (affixed inverted), all tied by light "1" obliterator on 1860 (7 Apr.) entire to Baltimore showing red crayon "4", legible Crowned circle "paid/at/trinidad" (crossed by light filing crease which also crosses the strip), "steamship/10" handstamp and, on reverse, despatch and St. Thomas transit (13.4) datestamps.
