This issue was overprinted in complete sheets of 240 and initially with "South West Africa" 16½mm. long on the upper two panes and 16mm. on the lower two panes. This order was subsequently reversed. For printings from 8 November 1926 all four panes had the 16½mm. measurement

1926 (3 Apr.) Wilson envelope registered from Windhoek to England bearing Setting VIa 10/- blue and olive-green dark shade horizontal pair neatly cancelled by 30mm. datestamp and with registration handstamp at left, despatch and arrival (3.5) datestamps on reverse; a scarce pair on cover. S.G. 39
