This issue was overprinted in complete sheets of 240 and initially with "South West Africa" 16½mm. long on the upper two panes and 16mm. on the lower two panes. This order was subsequently reversed. For printings from 8 November 1926 all four panes had the 16½mm. measurement

1925 (June)-26 (May) 4d. G size registered envelopes, uprated with 1d., 2d. (2) or 3d., from Kolmannskop to Luderitzbucht and all cancelled with converted German type datestamp, registration handstamps in violet, 1925 (July) 4d. G size registered envelope, uprated with 2d., from Windhoek and addressed locally, 1925 (Oct.) envelope from Windhoek to Swakopmund, handstamped "Bookpost" and "Registered" and bearing 2d. and 3d., and late usage 1947 envelope registered from Helmeringhausen to U.S.A. bearing 6d. pair, al adhesives from Setting VI
