1924 (Dec.)-27 (Feb.) Settings VI and VIa
This issue was overprinted in complete sheets of 240 and initially with "South West Africa" 16½mm. long on the upper two panes and 16mm. on the lower two panes. This order was subsequently reversed. For printings from 8 November 1926 all four panes had the 16½mm. measurement
Setting VIa
5/- purple and blue marginal block of eight (4x2) from the top of the sheet, the lower left-hand stamp with variety "Af" joined at foot and the lower right-hand stamp with variety diagonal line under "u" of "South"; fresh unmounted mint; a few split perfs. at top, otherwise fine and a scarce positional multiple which occurs only when the Setting VIa is both on the top left and right-hand pane.
