This issue was overprinted in complete sheets of 240 and initially with "South West Africa" 16½mm. long on the upper two panes and 16mm. on the lower two panes. This order was subsequently reversed. For printings from 8 November 1926 all four panes had the 16½mm. measurement
Setting VI
½d. marginal block of eighteen (6x3) with overprint misplaced slightly to right, ½d. block of eight (2x4), strip of four and a pair, all from the corner of the sheet with Plate 7, 1d. marginal block eighteen (6x3, severed between columns two and three) with three showing small type varieties, a corner block of four with Plate 6 and a corner block of six (3x2) with Plate 7, 2d. corner block of twenty-four and a corner block of four both with Plate 2, and a marginal block of eight (2x4) with overprint misplaced to left, 3d. ultramarine corner strip of four with Plate 1 and a block of four, 3d. deep bright blue corner pair and corner blocks of four and six (2x3), 6d. marginal block of four and a corner pair with Plate 1, 2/6d. block of four, 5/- purple and blue block of four with interpanneau margin at foot, 5/- purple and "electric" blue corner pair with Plate 1 and a corner block of four, mint; both 5/- purple and "electric" blue items a little toned and the block with production bends. An attractive group. Cat. £900+
