1d. upper left corner block of four from the upper right-hand pane showing trace of a plate number, variety imperforate between stamps and the interpanneau margin, unmounted mint; the lower pair with some stains at foot, and a small crease in top margin. A very rare variety from a strip of five purchased at Fort Victoria Post Office in 1948, accompanied with a typed note, supplied by the vendor, suggesting only four examples remain, "one being damaged".
