A trio of designs prepared by Waterlow's Chief Engraver, J.A.C. Harrison based on a Bertram Park portrait, comprising "Postage Revenue" 3d. in ultramarine, 8d. in violet and sage-green and "Revenue" 2/6d. in maroon, all hand-painted with the portions of the designs highlighted in Chinese white, each individually inset on a single piece of cream card (90x110mm.) mounted on a piece of black card (122x144mm.). A truly exquisite trio fully demonstrating the artist's talent for miniature portrait painting. Photo
