1858 (12 Mar.) envelope from Bridgetown to Philadelphia, rated "4" and bearing 1855-58 white paper 1d. blue with good to large margins nearly all round, placed inverted and cancelled "1" with, alongside, Crowned circle "paid/at/barbados", U.S. "steamship/10" packet charge due handstamp and New Orleans datestamp, the reverse with Bridgetown "1", despatch and St. Thomas (16.3) double-arc datestamps; scarce and attractive.
