A group of earlier covers, mostly taxed, which includes 1896 stampless cover front to Tobago with Port of Spain despatch c.d.s. and a fine strike of the Trinidad large "T" in circle with pair of Tobago 1d. cancelled in Tobago; 1900 envelope addressed to H.M.S. Crescent, Trinidad bearing ½d. tied by Port of Spain c.d.s. with the large "T" in circle alongside and 1d. Postage Due tied by Port of Spain c.d.s.; 1892 stationery envelope for Hungary bearing a good array of instruction and tax marks including 3d. Postage Due tied by Port of Spain c.d.s., "unclaimed", Not Called for and boxed "retour; 1895 ½d. stationery card from Hull bearing 1d. Postage Due. Also two 1895 envelope to Barbados and British Guiana bearing 2½d. and 5d. frankings. Condition is a little mixed in places. (6 covers)
