1942-44 War Effort, an exhibit collection formed by the late Eddie Bridges on double pages housed in a flat box, including all issued values in large multiples, many with sheet or plate numbers and with advertising slogans, some multiples showing minor printing errors and varieties, all values also used on various covers including Registered, censored and taxed items and some with attractive mixed frankings, the 1½d. red-brown variety roulettes omitted and 2d. violet with line on cap, also some shades, printed on buff paper, etc. A lovely collection for the specialist collector of these issues with room for expansion
